Mirrors

She told me I was wrong.
Angry words spoken
Through a sheet of glass
Fell on weary ears,
Never advancing, only heating.
With shiny eyes,
Like mirrors more than windows,
She dealt death lightly.
I became empty, without thought,
Only action.
She told me I was wrong
And she was right.
